It was absolutely amazing!! Our first time. Our server MALLOY, was absolutely a blast to work with. Very informative and cheerful. We will be back again
(Brunch) I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich and my husband ordered the shrimp & grits. Both dishes were amazing! The drinks were crafted to perfection, and the peach cobbler was so delicious it made our eyes roll in the back of our heads. Malloy was our server and we could NOT have asked for better service. We will definitely be returning.
My family and I visited Charred Oak this past weekend for Sunday Brunch! The food was amazing. The portion sizes and pricing were good! Our server Ashley provided great customer service and made sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t feel rushed at all! The restaurant is beautiful! We enjoyed it and highly recommend it! We will visit again.
Ffood was ok. No complaints. Bourbon choices were plentiful. Atmosphere was sort of like an old whiskey distillery which was perfect. Service was over the top good Thanks to our bar tender Camille!
Food was delicious! Large portions and well worth the money. We had chicken florentine with mashed potatoes and squash casserole, and Shrimp and grits and finished with Cheesecake with cherry sauce. I left with a full belly and a Happy heart, even had some food to take home.
My last night in Georgia, it's been a wonderful weekend visiting with my son. Tonight we had dinner at Charred Oak in Old Town. Fabulous Southern cuisine and over 30 different bourbons to choose from if you're a bourbon connoisseur. The atmosphere is sleek and charming with oak barrels on one wall and a bar featuring bourbons from floor to ceiling. Our server, Ashley , was friendly and efficient. I ordered the seafood pasta, lots of flavors going on and the smokey sausage blended nicely with the creamy fettuccine. Fried green tomatoes were the best I've ever had and the bourbon cream chocolate martini was superb and I had to take a "moment of silence" for the warm peach cobbler with bourbon vanilla ice cream, Lord it was good.
Omg, hands down, great service from our waitress. (Ashley) You can only find her on Saturday or Sunday. We had the Seafood Pasta and the Asian Salmon salad. We topped our meal off with the peach cobbler. Thank you Ashley for making us feel like the only customers there. She has such a pleasant personality.
Fanciest fried green tomatoes ever. Which normally I'm not a big fan of, but they were good. Steak and eggs on point. Great drinks, too!
